Leslie C. Daane, CPA, Managing Director of Barnard Vogler & Co. in Reno, Nev. has been elected to CPAmerica International’s board of directors. CPAmerica International is a member-driven association of large independent CPA firms.

“I know 2012 will be another great year working with each member of the board,” said Alan Decipher, CPAmerica president. “As we begin implementing our strategic plan as decided by the council of members and board, I am confident our board of directors will be a great representation of our membership.”

Other elected board members are from Tempe, AZ; Austin, TX; St. Charles, IL; Tuscaloosa, Ala.; Syracuse, N.Y.; St. Louis Park, Minn; Cleveland, Ohio; and Indianapolis, Ind.

The new board had its first meeting of the year at the CPAmerica office on Jan. 11-12 to discuss 2012 initiatives and other long-term goals.

CPAmerica International is an association of more than 80 large independent CPA firms that provides practice management support, continuing education, marketing, online services and other programs for the improvement of its member firms. In alliance with Crowe Horvath International, the association has more than 550 offices worldwide, and combined firm revenues of the alliance approach $3 billion.
